This playful campaign, directed by Jim Archer through Mindseye, was imagined by the British broadcaster’s in-house creative agency, BBC Creative as part of its centenary celebrations.
As a way of thanking the nation for their contribution to the BBC over the last one hundred years, 15 Seconds of Fame offers viewers the chance to feature in their favourite programme.
The spot is hosted by comedian Phil Wang, who is humorously transported by green screen into episodes of the channel's most famous shows.
He jumps from set to set, listing the opportunities up for grabs, which include; laying on an operating table in Casualty, doing the sound effects on the Archers, being an alien extra in Doctor Who, and more.
The comedic campaign film will run on BBC TV, Radio and iPlayer, along with a TikTok challenge inviting fans to post their ‘auditions’.
