Award-winning comedy writer, director, and actor David Ebert helms a PSA-style ad in which Marcus plays a 280-year-old be-fanged influencer/activist Toby who wants to convince his fellow blood-suckers to go veggie and stop feeding on humans.

Created by Wieden + Kennedy New York and produced by 1stAveMachine, the humorous spot, titled titled Vegetarian Vampire, draws on the tradition of comedic contemporary vampires from the genius What We Do In the Shadows and features the affable Toby extolling the virtues of his staple sustenance, Heinz Tomato Blood Ketchup.

After busting myths about veggies, ie that they love veg and asparagus actually makes them hiss in horror, he ends on the observation that it’s not nice to eat homo sapiens as “humans are people too”.
