Players inspire youth, youth inspires football, football inspires culture. It's this cultural back and forth that Lafourmi wanted to illustrate in Find your Fearless, directed by Julien & Quentin through Hamlet.
During a discussion on the bus, one of the young characters in the film casually mentions player Neymar Jr.'s "Fearless" state of mind during play. This word resonates with his friends and comes to life throughout the film.
To be "Fearless" is to have a career as a player and as a mother at the same time, it's to feed on the words of critics, to become even greater, and to celebrate action rather than results.
Every detail of the film, from the the soundtrack influenced by English grime, through to the casting and their choice of clothing, was carefully considered to perfectly capture the energy and invincible spirit of PUMA's younger generation.
