DJ and animal rights activist Moby has created a track to accompany a new documentary, called Slay, which looks into the ongoing use of animal skins - leather, fur, and wool - within the fashion industry.

The video for the track, which is called Rescue Me, was directed by Rebecca Cappelli and portrays the suffering faced by a series of animals, all of whose fur or pelts are coveted by the fashion industry and, by extension, those who buy the resultant clothes.

Scenes of animal cruelty are interspersed with images from fashion shows as models, sporting the clothes the animals gave their lives to produce, strut the catwalk. It is a difficult and eye-opening watch to accompany the documentary's release, which comes from the makers of Cowspiracy and What The Health.

The trailer for Slay can be seen below and the full documentary is available to watch for free on WaterBear.
