powered bySometimes, imagery can be so beautiful it becomes mesmeric. Sometimes, dialogue is so thoughtful it tranfixes. And some special times, a video is so odd it cements itself to your attention.
The latter is very much the case in director Joe Cappa's wonderfully bonkers promo for Foxwarren track Deadhead, in which a strange puppetty man lets his sword do the talking.
To attempt to describe the spectacle would be to do it a disservice, but suffice it to say its combination of cheerily naff dancing, lo-fi costuming and puppetry, and unsettlingly violent storyline makes for something hard to scrub from the memory. In short, we love it.
