Director Valentin Guiod, along with Birth, 2Horloges, and ASSY PRODUCTIONS, has crafted this breathtaking short film to accompany DJ Snake’s track Patience, starring actor Alassane Diong.
With its title taken from the Arabic word Sabali, meaning ‘patience’ and ‘immortal', the film follows the harrowing journey of Moudou, a man undertaking a clandestine migration. At every horrific hurdle, he survives and moves forward driven by memories of his family and hope for the future.
Eleven minutes may seem lengthy for a music video, but the powerful storytelling, cinematic visuals and Diong’s extraordinary performance merge so seamlessly with the track, you’ll quickly forget you’re watching a promo at all.
