Director Fiona Jane Burgess helms this quirky music video through SMUGGLER for alternative British Rock band Wolf Alice’s track, The Sofa.
The charming film opens with singer Ellie Rowsell lounging on a sofa, which casually slides out of the living room set and onto the streets of London. The band members take turns riding the couch down bustling roads, drifting past colourful slices of daily life and a parade of offbeat characters.
Burgess adds: "When I first listened to the song, I imagined travelling somewhere on a train or a bus, watching the world unfold from my window seat. That’s the feeling that inspired this idea - the feeling of sitting back and travelling past scenes on a summer’s day, only this time it was on a sofa."
