Irish tourist agency Tourism Ireland and Publicis have launched this captivating creative campaign paying homage to the Irish heritage of Halloween.
At the heart of the initiative is a black-and-white 16mm hero film, directed by Leonn Ward through Irish agency Tiny Ark, titled Home of Halloween, which depicts the origin story of the globally-celebrated festival.
The film's dramatic visuals and haunting score transport viewers to the mystical landscapes of Ireland, showcasing beautifully-crafted traditional folk masks and costumes. As the story unfolds, a voiceover guides the audience through the evolution of Halloween traditions, concluding by transitioning from historic to present day festivities.
