Created in collaboration with Anorak, Swedish filmmaker Mikael Marcimain and B-Reel Films, tech brand Stø brings to life an unexpectedly intimate story.
The film, titled The Breakup Artists, breaks the mould of tech advertising with Marcimain’s raw and unpolished human storytelling, diving headfirst into the emotional chaos of modern love; arguments, reconciliations, silences and all.
“We wanted to create something you don’t usually see in a tech spot,” the director noted. “A brutally honest portrayal of relationships, to contrast just how steady and safe Stø’s products really are. It was also a bold move to keep the product itself in the background, trusting the audience to feel its presence rather than being told.”
