Created by Slap Global for Pepsico crisp brand Sabritas, in partnership with streaming platform Netflix, this short sci-fi saga, directed by Nico Perez Veiga through Primo, takes inspiration from director Zack Snyder's latest Netflix release, Rebel Moon.
Borrowing the movie’s original concept, which sees a group of farmers threatened by the arrival of alien ships, with the aim of taking their harvest; the brands recreated the story in a five-minute short film titled Invasion, which places it in the Sabritas potato plantations, and stars some of its real workers.
This partnership will be the first in the world to feature a short film reduction on the Netflix platform, and will be available as a prequel to the film.
