Betclic joins with Dentsu Creative Portugal to launch Lucky Us, Portugal Fans, a campaign suggesting that while football relies on talent, effort and maybe a spot of luck, you can always bet on the joy of supporting your national team.
Directed by Martim Condeixa through Playground, the spot features a jolly chap who laughs in the face of misfortune.
After the initial bad luck of his bike breaking down, the football supporter sets off on an epic hike to join other fans watching a game, that sees him luck out through lightening strikes, failing bridges, falling boulders and an angry cracken.
The film was entirely shot in the wild landscapes of the Azores.
