This brilliantly silly spot created by Droga5 London for Philips Baristina, will speak to all who like a cup of Joe that’s simply good and simply made.
Helmed by Nilsson through Object and Animal with his trademark feel for the surreal, it mocks today's bonkers beverage culture and poses the question: who needs a cold-pressed, micro-brewed concoction with added yak butter and a work of foam art on top?
The campaign asks coffee drinkers to 'Join the new coffee movement' and enjoy making an espresso at home, without any of the attendant nonsense.
“This product speaks for itself - genuinely amazing barista style coffee that doesn’t require a science degree.” said Shelley Smoler, CCO at Droga5 London.
