Promoting the new PALACE GAP collection of adult and kids’ clothes, this sweet film directed by Will Robson-Scott through Somesuch, is an ode to the two brands’ shared heritage, with Palace's 90s inspired streetwear reflecting Gap's modern/nostalgic style.

Created in-house, the spot sees a trio of sassy juniors taking coffee, driving around San Francisco, bemoaning such marks of ageing as their knees popping and discuss the renewal of their car insurance. "When I’m skating, I feel so young, but I’m so old. Life goes fast so quick,” says the sage skater ruminating on the passing of time.

The film follows a day in the life of young skaters as they explore San Francisco landmarks and  skate at Pier 7 with legends Karl Watson, Elissa Steamer, and Tommy Guerrero, and Palace skaters Kanin Garner, Jamal Smith, Heitor Da Silva, and Jahmir Brown. Celebrity singer songwriter and former Spice Girl, Melanie C makes an appearance alongside nine-year-old professional skateboarder Anna Shea.

“Collaborating with Gap made sense because a lot of us grew up skating in Gap gear in the 1990s,” said Palace founder Lev Tanju. “Gap is so cool to us: clean, preppy, and all about the good American things like everyone being welcome. Gap put out so much iconic content in the era before it was called content and it’s been a privilege for us to play in that space with them. And doing our first ever kids' collection with Gap is really special for us.”
