London agency ARK has launched a major promotion for Krispy Kreme UK and Ireland that captures that euphoric sensation of opening a fresh box of doughnuts. 

The hero film, directed by Abdou Cissé through ProdCo, brings the idea to life with some cool production design and harmonic singing. The opening of a Krispy Kreme box in a regular sitting room becomes the trigger for some musical magic – curtains, paintings, a book case and a house plant all burst into life and sing with glee about the upcoming doughnut fiesta. 

The director commented: "What excited me about this was the tension between the ordinary and the extraordinary. You're at home, enjoying an evening with the family, when then the box of Krispy Kreme opens and something completely uncontainable is unleashed. It’s this wall of joy that fills every corner of the room."
