French supermarket Intermarché leans into the adorable relationship between a baby and his grandpa in this jolly spot, directed by Rudi Rosenberg through DIVISION.
Created to promote the supermarket chain’s 10% loyalty-card benefit on the baby aisle to all parents and carers, the spot, titled Copains, Copains, follows a toddler on a fun day out to the fair with his grandfather.
Colourful, charming and feelgood, Rosenburg portrays the grandfather and toddler more as best friends than relatives. As they spend the day at the fair, the grandad embraces his playful, childlike side, enjoying rides, games and icecream. It all culminates in the sweet tagline: “For babies and all their friends.”
