Sportswear brand Nike has unveiled this witty performance-led spot, helmed by Director X through m ss ng p eces, starring basketball player Kevin Durant and rapper Drake.
Realised through postproduction from No Sushi, the film, titled Yes Man, opens with Drake and Durant in a Houston Rockets room, where the basketball star reveals some of his unusual recent sneaker purchases.
Leaning into the duo’s comedic chemistry, Drake gets over-enthusiastically, and slightly dishonestly complimentary about the ugly boots, while Durant remains hilariously deadpan, before revealing his new Nike NOCTA KD19s, nicknamed The Candies.
