Cut+Run has announced the expansion of its Texas team with the addition of two editors, John McStravick and Adam Henderson

The longtime colleagues, who have worked together at Treehouse Editorial and Charlie Uniform Tango, are now joining the Austin-based office.

“We are thrilled to welcome Adam and John to the Cut+Run family,” commented Bebe Baldwin, Executive Producer at Cut+Run Texas. “We were immediately intrigued by their talent, and then their personalities sealed the deal. It is just as important for our Editors to be good humans as it is to be talented. We are also beyond excited to have a presence in the Dallas market, which is a very tight-knit community. That is something we respect and value as a company, and we can’t wait for the adventure to begin.”

“100% agree,” added Amburr Farls, Cut+Run’s Managing Partner on the West Coast and Texas. “John and Adam are exceptional at their craft and already feel like part of our C+R family. We are delighted to welcome them and this exciting opportunity to authentically expand our Texas community.”

John McStravick brings over 15 years of experience, having collaborated with agencies such as TRG, LERMA, Launch Agency, and 31,000FT on campaigns for global brands like Avocados From Mexico, 7UP, Frito Lay, Home Depot, Ram, Toyota, and Russell Athletic. Known for rich storytelling and human connections, McStravick’s work ranges from deeply moving PSAs to playful comedy spots.

Adam Henderson has been editing professionally since 2009, with a passion for the craft since 2002. His early work in creative and journalistic videos sparked a love for editing, culminating in winning Adobe's International editing competition, Make the Cut, in which he bested 9,000 entrants from over 28 countries. Henderson has worked with clients including Motel 6, Poo~Pourri, HEB, Famous Footwear, Home Depot, Salvation Army, Toyota, Tastykake, and Suddenlink. Additionally, he has contributed to several feature films, web series, and award-winning short films.

McStravick expressed his enthusiasm about joining Cut+Run, saying, “This opportunity to join the team behind the award-winning work and industry leadership is very exciting and, frankly, a dream come true. And it’s exciting to be a part of intensifying Cut+Run’s reach in Texas which is a vibrant creative community.”

Henderson added, “Everyone at Cut+Run is so welcoming. They are one of the top editorial companies in the world and yet it feels very much like a family. And yes, it’s been wild that John and I have ended up working side by side for such a long time – I am excited that it continues with Cut+Run.”
