In January of last year a feature on The World Economic Forum website asked… “We’re on the brink of a polycrisis – how worried should we be?”

A polycrisis is defined as a complex shitstorm where multiple, interconnected crises converge and amplify each other, resulting in a predicament that’s hard to manage. It’s safe to say that a year on – in term of wars and political turmoil, environmental implosions and unstable global economics – things haven’t gotten much sunnier.

Depicting the turbulence of these days, this thought-provoking collaborative, mixed-media video contains fragments helmed by a 18 different directors – including sections by Pau Carrete and Stillz through CANADA and We Own The City – is part of A Film For The Future – the 44-minute visual companion to Coldplay's tenth studio album Moon Music

While referencing the ravages of battle and planetary destruction, the film also visualises the messy beauty of humanity: the passionate protests; the love and fear; and most importantly the hope that is channeled in multi-faith prayers for better times.

There is hope too in the flowers and new growth pushing through bomb-ravaged urban spaces; symbolising regeneration and the determination of nature to heal our broken world.

Last week shots featured another impressive collab that was part of the Film For The Future project, Alien Hits: Alien Radio.
