Short and sweet, like the rear protuberance of an Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog (it’s a thing, look it up), this endearing piece of content was directed by Woods himself through Imposter and was inspired by his viral content showcasing his efforts with @muchloveanimalrescue.
The sparkling script is as packed with treats as a Crufts-winning show dog. Woods opens with the truism that “the two greatest forces for good in the world are empathy and branded content.”
As he goes on to employ the services of local pet-focused businesses he eschews filthy lucre – in lieu of Apply Pay of course – explaining that “it’s 70 per cent bathroom germs and makes you look like you have a dangerous obsession with dead presidents.”
The spot is also a masterclass in how slick editing can enhance humour… check out the speedy spooky clip following Zach’s advice that you need to choose canine soft toys that help your dog “get into conspiracy theories early.”
