Directed by Andy and Adeena through BLINKINK, this thirty second spot uses comical characters, intricate sets and stop-motion animation to address the more serious issue of drink driving at Christmas.
As the clock strikes five at the North Pole, Santa’s elves pack up their tools after a hard day at work, and the Tree Trimming Party festivities commence. BLINKINK created magical, detailed sets for the film, complete with a rotating stage with a snowman DJ, and a workshop that folds into a bar with its own reindeer bartender.
After a wild night of consuming ‘gin-gle bells and tonics’, one of the elves makes the sensible decision to order a ride share with Santa, making sure everyone piles into the sleigh and gets home safely. The spot ends on a more serious note with the campaign's tagline, 'Drive sober, no regrets'.
