Director Eddie Alcazar has meticulously crafted this unsettling animated music video through Chromista to accompany Canadian artist The Weeknd’s new track Red Terror.
Skilfully combining claymation, live action and visual effects, Alcazar weaves a gruesome and emotive tale about a young man– brought to life by an uncanny blend of clay modelling and realistic human features – who finds himself stuck in a terrifying sentient forest.
Alcazar shares his thoughts on the project: “The creative freedom and time I had working with Abel allowed us to delve deep into raw themes and bold techniques. By blending live action, stop motion, and VFX, we’ve crafted something truly unique—an experience that pushes boundaries while remaining rooted in raw emotion.”
