Created by Mother and directed by Shannon Murphy through SMUGGLER, British retain chain M&S’s entertaining seasonal spot stars James Norton as an undercover Santa, alongside Lucy Punch as Mrs Claus, with a special appearance and soundtrack by Katherine Jenkins OBE.
Titled The Home of Christmas, the campaign takes us to Santa’s cosy cabin in the North Pole, where – with a little encouragement from Mrs. C – he decides to shave off his trademark beard. Rather pleased with his unrecognisably dashing new look, he decides it's the perfect opportunity to spend the holidays in the real world and experience Christmas from a different perspective.
His adventure takes him through the moments that make the season special: getting dressed up, gathering around a table of brilliant food and decorating the home. Jenkins brings the story to life through music, reimagining the song Heaven Is a Place on Earth and making an appearance in the film herself
