Directed by Tee Byford, this sublime and reflective documentary film captures the making and musings of artist Tom Morris through whimsical and painterly vignettes.
Shot on 16mm, the reflective short captures the studio as a space where gestures, colour, and thought intersect; a meditation on the act of making and the traces of what inevitably slips away.
“The project grew from long conversations over coffee and games of pool between Tom and myself, moments that quietly became the foundation of the film. My aim was to observe his process with gentle intimacy, allowing his voice and gestures to carry the rhythm and texture of memory.”
