Behaviour Interactive’s hit horror game, Dead by Daylight, has done its due diligence in rooting out horrific characters from movie, TV and literary lore, but the subject of its latest chapter might be the most terrifying yet.
Working from the company’s original concept art and story, Golden Wolf has created the one-minute, spine-tingling short Sinister Grace – the tragic tale, rooted in Thai folklore, of a once-beloved opera singer whose hunger for fame transforms her into a floating head with a glowing heart and trailing entrails: the Krasue.
With fantastically gory moments from director Mathieu Durand, alongside an illustrative art style that draws out the eerie concept, this cartoon chiller is not one for teatime.
