In a double act of payback, Uncommon Stockholm has created a pair of karma-fuelled films for Supercell's Clash of Clans: the short Revenge Room, which dramatises players’ frustrations with a broken button in the game, and an accompanying live-streamed stunt that let fans dish out real-time punishment to the game’s creators.
Directed by Vedran Rupic through Business Club, the hero film shows a variety of users vent their rage at the long-broken Revenge button – a long-teased feature that never actually let players hit back at their attackers – tinged with the director’s unique style.

Alongside this, the company also streamed an eight-hour Revenge Room of its own, created through Colony, which saw Supercell employees subjected to bizarre punishments - including slime, smoke, foul-smelling goo, feathers, wind machines, earthquakes, and even screaming chickens - all triggered by player votes.
Over one million fans tuned in as the developers tried to hold meetings about future updates and roadmap plans while enduring the chaos.
“As always, it’s been fantastic working with Supercell," says Björn Ståhl, CCO at Uncommon Stockholm. "It really pushes us to go all out on every project. The whole planning of the room was completely crazy and so much fun - anyone watching the ‘best of’ film will see that."
