Richmond celebrates a sausage day
The food brand’s charming spot taps into the bliss of having nothing to do but enjoy a meat-free-or-pork-based sandwichy snack on the sofa.

Created for Richmond by Saatchi & Saatchi, London, the new integrated campaign leads with a film directed by Alex Hulsey through Anonymous Content that leverages that sweet JOMO of not having to partake in vigorous team sports on a Saturday morning.
Titled Good Times, it opens to a father and daughter dismayed – or are they? – when they rock up at a soggy football pitch to find that rain has put the kibosh on her match.
Getting cosy at home with a bit of soul music, Dad slaps on the grill and rustles up the ultimate no-fuss wet weather lunch – a delish sausage sandwich enjoyed in relaxed form on the couch. The slickly edited ad is highly relatable even featuring that obligatory ketchup squirt on the T-shirt at the first mouthwatering bite.
