Animal rights organisation PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has launched this heartbreaking Christmas campaign, The Girl and The Cow, created in partnership with Atomic London.
Grounded in the insight that cows are intelligent animals who enjoy listening to music, the poignant film directed by Andrew Poole, follows a young girl who forms a special bond with a cow by playing her trumpet for him. The story takes a heart-wrenching turn when the cow disappears one day, with Alice slowly realising that he may never return
The emotive initiative, which is PETA’s first ever live-action Christmas ad, encourages people to consider going vegan this Christmas by prompting them to reflect on the lives and feelings of animals.
