In this compelling story of survivors helping survivors, one woman gives girls the opportunity to succeed.
Immigrating to find a better life is always terrifying, but the journey is even more complicated when you run a very high risk of being trafficked. After retelling her own harrowing story of abduction and escape, Karuna shares her work with Our Daughters International. The short film has a scope much bigger than it’s runtime, and the hope, joy, and earnestness of the young girls and women helped out of poverty is sensitively and tenderly handled.
