When your primary consumer is young kids, you have to think about the future of the earth.

From BBH LA, The Future of Pink is Green shows a variety of kids making over their Barbie dolls. Then, Barbie herself is made-over, this time out of plastic waste. Stylish and fun, the piece launches Mattel’s Barbie Loves the Ocean Collection, supporting ocean cleanup efforts by making the plastic parts of the doll out of plastic sourced within 50km of waterways in areas lacking formal waste collection systems.

This inclusive and vibrant production comes from Reverie. Georgia Tribuiani directed, and Ximena Del Valle contributed photography. With apt music by The Beginners, the upbeat track The New Me accompanies the piece.
