When it comes to songs promoting clean living and ecologically conscious decisions, your mind might not immediately go to Ebeneezer Goode by The Shamen.

Released in the 90s and notorious for its blatant (if slyly deniable) ecstasy promotion, the rave anthem nevertheless had such a catchy hook that it hit Number One in the UK charts and, decades later, has somehow become a perfect proxy for Faith In Nature's love of the great outdoors.

Turning the chorus into a rousing cry of 'Bees are good. Trees are good', this delightful spot from Dream Quickly, marking the brand's TV debut, embodies a DIY spirit in its use of costumes created by the aptly named Heidi Plant using repurposed materials, employees and friends in front of the camera and absolutely no CGI or glossy sets.

Directed with a sense of joy (and editing rhythm) by Blink Productions' John Ogunmuyiwa, this lo-fi standout has such a likeable hook that it's impossible not to bee charmed.

The campaign comes after Faith In Nature was named one of five winners of Channel 4's B Corp competition, which offered independent certified businesses that had never previously advertised on TV the chance to take their message to a national audience.

"We were only ever going to do this in a Faith In Nature way," says MD Hannah Whittaker. "Fifty-two years of independence grows something of a DIY spirit. Making our first TV ad is a huge moment for us, but we didn't want to suddenly start behaving like a big corporation. We wanted it to feel unmistakably Faith In Nature. A bit weird, very human and ultimately something that makes people feel good."

"This is a celebration not just of Nature, but of what it is to be human," says Simeon Rose and Anne Hopkins of creative agency Dream Quickly, who also sit on the company's board. "Faith In Nature is more big family than big corporation, so everyone in the film is a friend and everything you see has been crafted with joy and a human hand. We still can't quite believe everyone who said yes, said yes."

"A major TV spot like this is a "pipe dream" for most independents," adds Jasmine Meaden, Head of Marketing. "We've always believed everyone should be able to go natural and that sustainability doesn't have to be more expensive or complicated. We hope this ad does exactly what our products do, makes people feel good."
