F1 wants you to be (un)comfortable

We've no doubt that haring around a track at 200mph+ must be an anxiety-swelling pursuit, but what of the poor folk watching and supporting?

Turning the attention from the drivers and vehicles, W+K's 2021 Season Launch Film for F1 instead chooses to throw the focus on the bystanders - fans, pit-crew and mechanics - who have to watch the action take place.

What could have been a straightforward montage is given a vibrant twist through director/creatives Tom Bender and Tom Corcoran's occasional sprinkling of chroma effects and digital break-up, added to through Joe Guest's impressive edit, that genuinely gives the images a real sense of tension and dread.
