This hilarious promo film Holy Crocodile, created by indie agency Worth Your While and directed by Sebastian Lopez, announces the opening of The Down Under Film Festival (DUFF), which kicks off in Copenhagen tomorrow.
The ad features a series of Danes bearing surfboards, cork-ringed hats and dodgy accents (crikey mate) who misunderstand the premise of DUFF and believe they need to be true blue Aussies to get in.
But dead set, you don’t need to bandy around your kangaroo clichés to attend, you just need a ticket yer flamin' drongo.
Opening tomorrow in Copenhagen, the four-day event is a chance for Danish audiences to see films rarely screened in Scandinavia and includes award-winning features, docs and shorts from such festivals as Sydney, Melbourne, Flickerfest, and the New Zealand International Film Festival.
