Curfew adds new directors to its US roster
Curfew signs directors Quinn Meyers, Paul Sam Johnston, and Kaius Potter for commercials and branded content.
Bi-coastal production company Curfew has announced the signing of directors Quinn Meyers, Paul Sam Johnston, and Kaius Potter for commercial and branded content representation in the United States.
Meyers, a multi-disciplinary filmmaker, is known for energetic work that blends stylised visuals with naturalistic performance. With a background in indie film and agency creative, he has directed campaigns for brands including Chamberlain Coffee, Warby Parker, and fashion and beauty content featuring Alicia Keys, John Legend, Gwen Stefani, and Jimmy Fallon. His ongoing creative partnership with Emma Chamberlain has included several digital campaigns, positioning him at the intersection of branded content and influencer-led storytelling.
Johnston brings a performance-led, character-driven approach shaped by his early career as an actor. His directing work combines humour and cinematic craft, with commercial credits including Coca-Cola, Hershey’s, HP, and Audi. His experience spans short-form narrative and commercial campaigns, and he is currently developing a short film project.
Potter is a self-taught filmmaker whose work is influenced by youth culture, subcultures, and visual storytelling rooted in authenticity. He has directed award-winning campaigns for global brands including Nike, American Express, Google, Budweiser, Jack Daniel’s, and YouTube. His work is characterised by a bold visual style and an editorial sensibility that centres narrative clarity and human emotion.
Curfew has recently delivered campaigns for Google, Spotify, Citibank, and Ikea, and also supports creative projects outside traditional advertising. Notably, the company produced the music video for Terrapin by Clairo, starring Weird Al Yankovic and directed by Ayo Edebiri.
Kathryn Berk, executive producer at Curfew, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Paul, Quinn, and Kaius to Curfew. Each brings a unique perspective and creative voice, Quinn captures authentic performances from high-profile talent, Paul combines wit with human insight, and Kaius creates cinematic, culture-focused work. Their addition strengthens our ability to deliver ambitious, creatively-led campaigns across both branded and entertainment content.”
This marks the first US representation for all three directors. Paul Sam Johnston continues to be represented by Denim in Canada, and Kaius Potter by Entropico in Australia.
