Golden LA has signed dayday for commercial representation.

A multidisciplinary creative working across film, design, photography, and creative direction, dayday’s work blends stillness, symbolism, and refined visual composition to craft emotive and timeless narratives.

Their directorial voice draws on lived experience as a Black and Queer creative, with a signature minimalism that invites viewers to pause, reflect, and connect. Their commercial and narrative work has been recognised by the Cannes Lions, Clios, and AICP, alongside an Emmy nomination for motion design.

Recent collaborations include campaigns for Nike, Spotify, Facebook, Sonos, Tesco, Procter & Gamble, the WNBA, and designer Mara Hoffman. Day recently directed a spot for the Ad Council in collaboration with Golden LA, due for release this spring, and the music video no good for experimental artist and composer OHYUNG.

In narrative, day has directed work for Hulu’s Your Attention Please, including the short film BLUE, exploring the legacy of Black cowboys. The film received a Vimeo Staff Pick and was screened at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. Their earlier work in the series, L’enchanteur, A Visual Mixtapr, follows jewellery designers Dynasty and Soull Ogun.

Their debut narrative short Lovin’ Her, a non-linear, trans-centred story, has screened internationally at NewFest, BFI Flare, Newport Beach Film Festival, Drama International Film Festival, and Image+Nation Festival Courts.

In the design space, day’s portfolio includes work for Masterclass, Johnson & Johnson, The New York Times, Honda, Rakuten, Ember, On Running, the Academy Awards, Hallmark+, BET+, and Netflix.

“What attracted me to Golden LA was their unique ability to bridge high-calibre commercial productions with innovative design work, two mediums I’m extremely passionate about,” said day. “I’m excited to collaborate with Golden LA to create impactful work across these disciplines.”

Matthew Marquis, managing director at Golden LA, adds: “From the moment we saw day’s work, we recognised the emotional clarity and originality in their storytelling and design. These elements complement one another across their portfolio. With day’s signing, we look forward to evolving both our roster and their creative voice, across disciplines and at the intersection where they meet.”
