In a world saturated by AI and algorithms, footwear brand Crocs steps out of the ordinary with this soulful new campaign created by Flower Shop and directed by acclaimed Swedish filmmaker Adam Berg through SMUGGLER.
Titled Let Your Human Out, the spot centres on two Crocs-wearing shop mannequins who step out of their display and clumsily begin to dance, their eyes slowly opening as they stumble through the world for the first time. With every new experience from petting cats to smelling flowers, their stiff limbs gradually loosen, transforming from dolls into human men.
Shot in São Paulo, the film features professional dancers cast as mannequins, brought to life in post-production through striking visual effects and paired with the track I get overwhelmed from the Dark Rooms. The result is a tender, human expression of movement, emotion and awakening, reinforcing the brand’s belief in creativity and authenticity.
Carly Gomez, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer of Crocs brand added: "It’s about celebrating instinct over perfection, self-awareness over performance, and real expression over manufactured trends. As Crocs enters this next era, the message is clear: you don’t have to have it all figured out, you just have to be your most authentic self. And that’s wonderfully unordinary."
