Created by Canva and agency DUDE Milan, this charismatic and charmingly crafted spot for the online marketing graphics tool shows that great design is within everyone’s reach - even a humble pigeon.
Titled Wild Design, the story follows a pigeon, named Picci1, perched above a struggling trattoria. While other pigeons jostle for the last crumb, he seizes the opportunity to become an unlikely creative director, using Canva to create a new visual identity, marketing materials and communications in moments.
Produced by UK studio A+C and directed by former Aardman Studios animator Dan Richards, the film is brought to life through charming character design and tactile props. Every element, from Picci1 himself to the tablecloths and food, was physically built using a textile-inspired approach.
