Yessian Music, the globally renowned music and sound design studio, announces the appointment of Chris Heidman as Executive Producer.
Based in Minneapolis, Heidman will work across Yessian’s international offices, contributing to a wide spectrum of work spanning commercials, entertainment, and immersive experiences.
Heidman brings a formidable track record to Yessian, bridging the worlds of independent music and high-profile brand storytelling. As co-founder of the influential LoFi pop band Sukpatch, Heidman was an early pioneer of bedroom-produced music, releasing records on iconic labels including Mo’ Wax, Sub Pop, Capitol, EMI, and Grand Royal.
“We’ve known Chris and had great conversations over the years,” said Brian Yessian, Partner and CCO. “We always kept the door open, waiting for the right moment, and that time is now. Chris brings decades of experience in the music industry, both as a performer and producer. We’re excited for him to join the team and help fuel Yessian’s continued growth.”
After a decade of international touring, Heidman shifted into artist production and management before transitioning into music supervision and creative direction for major brands. His work continues to push the boundaries of music’s role in storytelling and experience design.

Heidman’s commercial and branded credits span a diverse portfolio including Target, BMW, Subaru, Macy’s, Walmart, Estée Lauder, Xbox, Apple, and Kohl’s. He has supervised original scores featuring artists such as Lizzo, Hot Chip, YACHT, and Ciara, while also championing new talent across genres and geographies.
With this addition, Yessian deepens its commitment to music-driven storytelling and continues its mission to expand creative boundaries across advertising, entertainment, and beyond.
