There is no place like home for Bluebella
This Halloween, Riff Raff director Ivana Bobic enters a darker world with a cinematic new film for Bluebella.
Starring Sophia Hadjipantelli, the film begins in the comfort of her own home before taking a seductive turn.
As the Bluebella collection ignites a transformation, the familiar becomes strange, sensual and increasingly surreal, creating a clear transition from everyday reality into a world of heightened desire.
Bobic wanted to subvert Hadjipantelli’s role as the ultimate Halloween baddy, bringing an enigmatic and captivating energy to the screen. Drawing on the visual language of a classic horror film trailer, Bobic builds tension through shadow, atmosphere and anticipation, while placing sensuality firmly at its centre.
The film plays with the thrill of transformation, celebrating the confidence and power that comes with stepping into another version of yourself.

Bobic said: "As a woman, it’s anarchic to resist categorisation. I feel strongly that we need more complexity on screen, especially in a time of extreme creative blandness, and especially in fashion.
There’s a lot of moralisation around women displaying sexuality, as with the classic femme-fatale, you could be hot and independent but ultimately that got you killed off at the end. But surely it’s possible to be many things at the same time… in 2026! This ad is a heady cocktail of emotions, a fever dream of horror tropes and sensuality, a wild ride that feels thrilling to watch and flips our expectations. This lingerie-wearing starlet isn’t dangerous, she’s just the main character, hosting a party.
In Bluebella we play with gaze, transformation and character through the lens of horror, which is an amazingly fertile genre for exploring our fears and desires. Balancing all of this creatively was a fine and technical line to tow. Underneath the sultry fun there’s a lot of craft and bravery, from the story, to the cinematography, the edit and the score, they all work together in a very precise way to create a new, fresh take on the lingerie ad.
I was inspired by Tarantino’s Deathproof, at first glance a nasty grindhouse film, but if you stick with it, it becomes a fascinating, life affirming wish-fulfillment story. Re-working genre and creating challenging, weird imagery is more important than ever, as an act of defiance."
