Not content with just being 'the greatest toy of all time', LEGO in China has launched an initiative that looks and feels like an esports tournament, but instead of video games, kids compete by creatively slamming together some blocks.
Titled The League of LEGO Power Players, the company and in-house shop the LEGO Agency, Shanghai created a vibrant trailer in which three teams go head-to-head, mixing action, teamwork and imagination.
Taking more than a few cues from the comic book-inspired animation style of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the thrilling film has some lovely animated moments, with production company Rawr Pictures providing a suitably epic production.
