Managing to put his comedic sensibilities aside, Taika Waititi conjures up a sweet and entirely heartfelt new campaign for Amazon this festive season.
Crucially focussing on the inventiveness and insight that can't just be bought at the click of a button, the Lucky Generals-conceived spot instead looks at how Joy Is Made, showcasing a father whose understanding of his daughter's obsession leads to an entertainingly elaborate experiential gift.
With the Hungry Man director focused on aws instead of guffaws, this beautifully cast and crafted spot is a traditional seasonal cockle-warmer.
