In Vietnam, “Mượt như Sunsilk” (smooth as Sunsilk) has moved beyond advertising to become an everyday phrase used to describe anything that feels silky or satisfying.
Created by Ho Chi Minh agency The Friday, this kooky campaign for Sunsilk Vietnam leads with a surreal film directed by Lo Hoang, through FGS, that depicts the colourful world of Silktopia.
In this joyous land of lunacy, shiny hair gets up to all kinds of capers: playing badminton and growing from chess pieces and dancing cacti.
Beyond the film, Sunsilk is introducing a range of activations, including a series of missions, encouraging people to recreate the world of “mượt” (smooth) in their own way. Silktopia is also set to move offline with a Mượt Festival planned as a real-life event.
