Soho-based creative audio and VFX studio No.8 has announced the signing of Seb Bruen, who will bring a wealth of sound design experience as well as music supervision, and will launch the new music division of No.8.

Bruen joined from Aumeta where he worked with directors including Ian Pons Jewel, Terence Neale, Hector Dockrill, Meji Abteen, Zhang + Knight  and Taz Tron Delix on commercial campaigns for Nike, Coca-Cola, Facebook, Jaguar, Squarespace, Bentley, Samsung, Mercedes AMG, and Audi.

As well as his advertising work Seb has worked on documentaries, features and short films which have been selected for festivals like Sundance, Cannes, SXSW and Berlin International.

Bruen says; ‘I’m really excited for this move, it's the direction I’ve wanted to explore for a while. No.8 really wants to push development of the music arm of their operations and have given me a good amount of freedom to explore, so I’m looking forward to sharing this journey with them. Also, everyone on the team I’ve met seems lovely, so the prospect of forging new relationships and understanding how I can contribute to the company is equally exciting for me.'

Sam Robson, partner and CD says; "Seb is someone we’ve been working with on various projects for a while now, and once he’d decided to move back to London, we knew this was the perfect opportunity to launch No.8 Music. He’s unique as an engineer in the fact he has an extremely strong reputation in sound design whilst also, because of his background, can nail all sorts of music briefs as well.

To top it off, he’s a pleasure to work with. It’s this flexibility which will help expand our offerings even more and give clients a full audio service on every job we do. His reel speaks for itself, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board"
