Created by Pool Kommunikation and directed by Aspekt’s Gustav Bondeson, this bold call to action for RF-SISU District Stockholm (part of Sweden’s national sports movement) highlights the importance of support for children's sports clubs.
Set across a range of facilities, the cinematic shots show children playing hockey, ice skating, basketball and more, accompanied by a moving voiceover explaining the opportunities these spaces create to grow, learn and socialise.
As the ad unfolds, clever VFX-driven vignettes reveal the strain on these clubs if every child who wanted to play could access them. Featuring real kids from the RF-SISU network, the impactful visuals underscore the urgent need for greater community support of youth sports.
Bondeson says “Together with my close collaborators DP Simon Bendroth and VFX artist Jonathan Wendt, we approached the film in a playful, childlike way, creating a heightened reality of overfilled sports arenas, inspired by memories from our own childhoods, the energy of the kids we worked with, drawing inspiration from the masterful eye of photographer Martin Parr.”
