Swiss Luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet launches this reflective short film, created by WMA and directed by Paul Herrmann through Object & Animal, following RAYE in the weeks leading up to her opening night performance at the 60th Montreux Jazz Festival.
Shot across three days in London and titled No One Shapes Time Alone, the project goes beyond a standard documentary, weaving soulful storytelling and striking vignettes to build a poetic picture of Raye’s life through the people and places that have shaped her.
Herrmann’s visual language focusses on the quieter spaces between the performance - rehearsal rooms, backstage corridors, family gathered around a table - letting the film earn the stage rather than starting there.
