Rather than the ‘sure thing’ lifestyle promised to previous generations, it can sometimes feel as though people now live with more of a lottery mindset.

As such, curiosity about cultural shifts, and where they might lead, has rarely felt more relevant.

Recognising this, prediction platform Polymarket, which allows users to trade on the outcomes of real-world events, is attempting to spark conversation around its offering by posing a series of thought-provoking brain-tinglers in its Questions Are Everything campaign from Better Half and Four Four Entertainment.

In the hero spot, Flags, directed by Gabriel Moses through Concrete, a global cast including Rick Rubin, Future and Peso Pluma pose against the flags of their respective countries, as Rubin’s voiceover reflects on uncertainty, belief and the questions shaping the world.

Smartly shot and cut with real pace, the well-timed film, airing during World Cup matches, is both intriguing and stylish, with some cracking audio courtesy of Kanye West’s Runaway.
