On the occasion of the release of their new album, Supertales, music artist Polylogue From Sila entrusted director Simon Landrein with the creation of this vibrant music video for their new trackDon’t u blame it on me.

With full creative freedom, Landrein gives free rein to his quirky thoughts in this fun animated piece, produced with the support of the CNC within the 2D Studio at Passion Pictures. Bursting with stylised, humorous visuals, the film illustrates the ambivalent feelings that follow a couple after their breakup.

Landrein added: ‘We established a classic but optimised production process that matched the music video’s release date: I produced a precise storyboard, edited into an animatic to ensure the timings were right in the edit. Then we went straight into production, distributing the shots between the animators and myself. We had daily checks on the progress of the shots between the team, Passion Paris, and me. Then a bit of compositing to tie it all together. And there you have it!’
