This honest and affecting campaign, created by Ogilvy and directed by Claudia Costafreda through Roma for Spain’s Ministry of Equality, calls for people to take action when they witness signs of domestic abuse. 

The cinematic spot, which is shot on film, puts viewers in the centre of intense and believable scenes where some form of gender violence is taking place. 

Whether it’s a subtle warning sign or blindingly obvious abuse, the people observing the situation unfold say nothing to the victim, perpetuating the cycle of abuse. The film ends by dropping the statistic that only 1 in 4 people act when they recognise signs of violence.
