Partizan signs director Artur Wolgers
Working across commercials and short films, Wolgers has developed a distinctive visual voice that feels polished, character-led and quietly subversive.
Partizan announce the signing of off-beat comedy director Artur Wolgers to its roster.
Wolgers directs striking, performance-led work with a quirky, wry comedic sensibility. His films pair strong visual craft with dry, detail-driven humour, finding comedy in timing, character and tone rather than slapstick noise. Whether working within tightly constructed concepts or more open narratives, he brings a considered approach that allows ideas to breathe while maintaining commercial clarity.
Working across commercials and short films, Wolgers has developed a distinctive visual voice that feels polished, character-led and quietly subversive. His short film Things Never Told recently ran the festival circuit, and he has received a Golden Egg for his commercial work. Collaborating with brands such as IKEA, Oatly and Burger King, he consistently balances brand tone with his own precise comedic perspective.
Commenting on the signing, Levi Rijper, Partizan Executive Producer, said: “Artur has a brilliant instinct for performance and nuance. His comedy is controlled and intelligent, and we’re very pleased to welcome him to Partizan.”
With Wolgers joining, Partizan continues to expand its roster of directors working confidently across performance-led and concept-driven storytelling.
