Cult techno music producer Partiboi69 really lives up to his name in this breakneck promo for his frenetic track Double Drop, directed by MindsEye's Tom Clover.
Splicing unhinged live-action with animation and news reporting footage, the exhilarating film follows the dodgy dealing of a highly intoxicating new pill, known around town as the 69.
Through dizzying visuals infused with a kind of 90s-underground-rave aesthetic, Clover whisks us between the streets where drug users run riot, and a grimy, make-shift drugs lab in a hotel, where cooks wearing little but a thong and latex boots frantically press pills and customers clamour at the door to get their fix.
