For Brits, there's a level of celebrity that towers above the A-list, royalty, and even the Kardashians... that of the National Treasure.
Recent recipient Olivia Coleman, Oscar-winning star of The Favourite and The Crown, uses her newfound power to enforce the 'law' of D.O.N.T. (Department Of National Treasures) in Warburton's latest star-tickling spot, creatively developed by Merman Branded alongside Billy Faithfull, Andy Lee and Jonny Porthouse through Joyful & Triumphant.
Directed by Merman's Declan Lowney, The Inspection sees Coleman pay particular attention to the company's crumpet offerings, particularly enjoying most of the toppings suggested.
“Having directed a host of Hollywood heavyweights, including The Muppets, I thought I’d seen it all,” says Lowney. “But then along comes Olivia Colman with an Oscar-worthy, whip-smart performance in the latest epic for Warburtons Crumpets.
“Kudos to the writers for their genius script and thank you Warburtons for being such brilliant clients to work with... espionage, crumpets and chaos – plenty to get my teeth into!
“And yes, Warburtons #7 is still technically part of the trilogy!”
